Man, I LOVE this website, it really cracks me up!! You’re right about Kim, her whole game is to continue to be an ever increasing millionairess (which I don’t fault her for), but what I DO fault her for is knowing little and misleading people that don’t have much computer knowledge so she can then sell them something OR get them to listen to her show, which is nothing more than one L-O-N-G commercial that she interrupts every so often to offer “sage computer advice”.

Someone mentioned her different “news letters”; she sends them out with a teaser that has a link to HER page so you have to click on the link in your email and she can then show advertisers how many people come to her site daily for info from her….. unreal

I get her newsletter everyday, mainly for laughs. It is funny that she thinks she’s being this semi-sexy hip women when in truth she’s frumpy as hell! haha She’s super paranoid about people swamping music,etc. I know it’s illegal and I certainly don’t expect her to condone it, but it’s almost like she’s wiling to rat you out for it, she really seems like that sort of backstabbing person. Her advice is very dubious as best. Now she’s on the Mac kick, really focusing on it in her newsletter. A couple years ago, she went on a firefox push almost saying IE is crap, which I’m sure many agree, but she goes where big company’s lead her, a self absorbed greedy (*&#$ she is.

I commented to her about one of her recent responses to a caller about wireless routers in which she told him/her that “MIMO” stood for “Maximum In, Maximum Out”.

Yeah, sure, Kim. Whatever you say.

It brought to mind all the other times I was in my car listening to her answer callers and it was so obvious she, or whoever advises her, didn’t have any depth of knowledge on which she was commenting. I’ve listened to her off and on for about 5 years and I would estimate about 10 times she was dead wrong – if not very misleading – about things. Other times, like the “MIMO” screwup was about double that number.

One time, she advised a caller about a free solution to something which resulted in the browser being directed to a for-pay link to her website. I complained about that too, but I never get a reply when I complain.

Personally, I don’t care about her politics. I may even agree with them; but it makes my head hurt when she makes a boneheaded reply to a caller that I just KNOW other knowledgeable people are also shaking their heads about.

Oh well.

Your comments posted in reply are some of the most glaring mistake-ridden and inarticulate piles of textual piles I have ever had the displeasure of falling into. You badly need to rein in your enthusiasm for spaceships and computers and redirect that squandered energy back into basic communications skills. Best comment ever. I listen to Rush Limbaugh every day. Not that I’m bragging, because if I wasn’t so awesome I’d probably be ashamed to say that. I know he’s said a shit ton of things that weren’t accurate, but it’s usually minuet little details that are really beside the point. What Rush doesn’t lie. He takes the facts, and he presents them in a way that supports his talking points.

I think the problem people have with Rush, why they color him a liar, is not that he’s an incredible liar trying to build a fiction about how great the GOP is. It’s that he’s a rich, pompous son-of-a-bitch who only cares about the top 1%.

That’s who Limbaugh is. He’d probably admit it if you ask him. That’s why he’s such a great personality to listen to. It’s like with the Holocaust. If your against genocide, then you believe the Germans during WW2 committed the worst atrocities in history. If your for Genocide, you don’t see what the big deal is about going door to door hunting people down based on their nationality. Germans can’t well take over the world with gypsies and jews living in Berlin. I know, it’s offensive, but so is everything else you don’t agree with.

It’s all just a matter of perspective. If you want to understand Rush Limbaugh, you must first place yourself in the mindset of a wealthy businessman that rose to the top on the shoulders of everyone in America. Then, you have to take a look around. Note that all the laws of the land finally protect you at the expense of all the people you’ve ever screwed. Then, relax, light a cigar, and go on national radio and claim that you hope Obama fails. It’s not a lie, it’s not shock for ratings, nor is it treason. It’s just news commentary by some asshole rich guy who pisses off liberals.

I think i’m going to go listen to his podcast…

I don’t really care about anything Kim Kommando says (I just visit for the pictures), and indeed I didn’t even read your article, but I have been looking for years for some evidence that Rush Limbaugh makes up stuff. I would appreciate it if you or any of your readers would give me some info on where to find this info or clues so that I can look it up myself.
